I'm Craig Roeckle and I've been a Duke Team member for ten years. I am presently the lead person in the polishing department where we manufacture custom food service equipment such as sinks, dishtables and conveyors. We are also responsible for much of the polishing and finishing of other products at the St. Louis plant.
When I joined Duke the company was growing fast and was in need of experienced craftsmen. I was then offered the lead position. Under the leadership of Jake Hake the company continued to grow and our department tripled in size over the next few years. Because of the trust and encouragement given to us, we expanded without much trouble. I was given the freedom to equip the department and train as we went. We were and are encouraged to improve procedures and try out and invest in new equipment that betters our quality and production. Duke has an open door policy and an atmosphere of exchanging ideas that I've never experience elsewhere. That could be why it's a leader in the industry and a great place to work.
